Jan 07 - RGP Praises Public for Quiet Christmas
07 January 2014
Following a reserved Christmas and New Year period, that saw minimum disturbance from the public, the RGP has thanked the community and insists that the lack of serious incidents is extremely encouraging.
A spokesperson for RGP today added that only one person was arrested for drink driving and only one traffic accident saw serious injuries inflicted on an individual, with four others involving minor injuries. The figures are much lower than last year and the force puts this down to their on-going drink driving prevention initiative.
