Apr 07 - Rumanian National Involved In NatWest ATM Tampering Arrested And Sent To Jail
Following reports of tampering and damage having been caused to Natwest ATM (cash tills) on Wednesday and Thursday last week, the RGP mounted an operation resulting in the arrest of Lulian Ciocan, born 23.04.1984, a Rumanian national residing in La Linea, Spain.
Ciocan was subsequently charged with three counts of Criminal Damage and one count of Going Equipped to Steal.
Ciocan appeared at the Magistrates Court this morning and was sentenced to a total of one month imprisonment and has been ordered to pay £350 in compensation.
