Aug 25 - Local Man Cleared Following Short Trial

A local man accused of both threatening to kill and assaulting his partner was found not guilty at the Supreme Court this morning.

Mohammed Rida Boulaich Boulaich faced one count of threats to kill and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The jury of nine found him not guilty on both counts.

Boulaich maintained his innocence throughout the two-day long trial.
