20 New Apartments Being Added At Knights Court

The Government is adding 20 new rental apartments to Gibraltar’s housing stock through an extension to Knights Court. The new properties will be allocated to applicants on the housing waiting list.

A statement from the Government follows below:

The Ministry of Housing is proud to announce the development of an extension to Knights Court building. 

This extension has enabled the provision of twenty new properties consisting of three flats with 3RKB room composition and seventeen flats with 2RKB room composition. These twenty newly built properties will be added to the much-needed housing stock and will be allocated to those on the housing waiting list. 

The estimated completion time of this extension is within early September 2026. 

This development has been undertaken by Macmillan who are also undertaking the major refurbishment program for Knights Court. 

The Minister for Housing, the Hon Pat Orfila MP, said: “We are delighted to be able to welcome twenty brand new rental stock, which we will be able to allocate to applicants on the waiting list. 2RKBs do not easily come into our stock, therefore 17 new 2RKBs will certainly make a difference and further reduce our waiting list.”
