Dec 07 – “Solecism” Exhibition Opens
07 December 2016
Aaron Soleci’s first solo exhibition opened yesterday evening at the Face Frames Gallery in Town Range.
The exhibition has the title “Solecism” which means a grammatical error or a mistake in behaviour.
Soleci has used this theme to produce work of a unique and experimental nature.
Strange faces, heads, body parts and distorted beings populate the canvas – each painting is its own world full of hidden messages and often grotesque images.
At the opening last night, people remarked on the artist’s intense powers of imagination and originality.
