Feb 02 - Governor Hosts Chess Dinner At The Convent
The Banqueting Hall at The Convent was the very special setting of a dinner given by His Excellency the Governor of Gibraltar Sir James Dutton.
A small group of top chess players, among them World No. 4 Veselin Topalov and the Women’s World Champion Hou Yifan, and sponsors, including main sponsor James Humpreys from Tradewise, Gibraltar’s Culture Minister Steven Linares and festival organiser Brian Callaghan, were present at this event hosted by the Governor and Lady Dutton.
