Jul 15 - Youth Service ‘Start of Summer’ Party
Local Youth Club members teamed up with the Laguna’s DJ Project members to organise and host a Hawaiian-themed summer party at the Youth Centre. All those involved worked really hard to ensure that the event was a success.
Delicious fruity drinks and Hawaiian pizza were served for all to enjoy, followed by a ‘sponge-a-worker’ game and some music as entertainment.
The money raised from the event will be used to fund the Youth Centre’s summer programme. The aim of the programme is to enable youngsters to develop life skills and create a sense of independence through the volunteering opportunities provided.
