Jul 30 - Maxi Priest To Perform At National Day Concert
Reggae superstar Maxi Priest will top the bill for this year’s National Day Concert. Also featuring with Maxi Priest will be Beniton the Menace as well as top local bands Heritage and Jet Stream.
The concert will held on the Thursday 10th September 2015, at Casemates Square starting at 9.00pm
Richard Buttigieg, the SDGG chairman, said:
‘We are very pleased that Maxi Priest has accepted our invitation to perform on National Day. Maxi’s joyous brans of reggae with pop and modern R&B influences made him and his band Kings of Lover’s Rock one of the most successful reggae fusion acts of all time.
We are confident that most musical tastes will be catered for and all will enjoy an excellent evening’s entertainment. Also having Maxi Priest as top of the bill is an extra added bonus for our community to enjoy!’
