New Podcast Documentary Series To Mark 50th Anniversary Of Frontier Closure

Today, on the eve of the 50th Anniversary of the closure of the frontier, a new documentary podcast series based on the events leading up to and the impact of the Frontier Closure has been launched. Among the subjects being explored in the series will be the history leading up to the closure, its impact on family life and supplies coming into Gibraltar, as well as the legacy of the closed frontier years.

Jun 05 - Short Story Competition Winners

The annual Short Story Competition organised by the Gibraltar Cultural Services on behalf of the Ministry for Culture in conjunction with the Gibraltar Chronicle attracted a total of 350 entries from children in School Years 4 to 13 and adults. The awards were presented earlier today at the John Mackintosh Hall.
