Gibraltar Cultural Services (GCS), on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, has announced a change in Adjudicator for this year’s Gibraltar International Drama Festival, as the previous Adjudicator has withdrawn after contracting COVID-19. GCS is pleased to present Mr Alan Hayes B.Ed (Hons), GODA as the new Adjudicator for this year’s event.
The Gibraltar National Dance Organisation (GNDO), and Michael Prescott MBE have been recognised by the World International Dance Organisation (IDO) and awarded the Organisation’s Excellence Awards as founder members of the IDO, and for their contribution to promoting Gibraltar abroad for over 40 years.
Gibraltar Cultural Services, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, has announced another interesting and varied programme of events for the 2022 Youth Arts Jamboree. Activities as part of this year’s YAJ will mainly run from 14th February to 12th March. GCS collaborators have designed tailor made workshops and tutorials covering different aspects of the arts which GCS says it is sure will be as much educational as it will be enjoyable.
Gibraltarian writer Jackie Anderson and her daughter Ciara Wild have teamed up to write a book on Jack the Ripper’s victims. ‘Myth, Monster, Murderer’ is set to be published next month by The Book Guild, an independent publisher in UK, part of Troubador Publishing.
