Nov 27 - Samantha Sacramento Finds Exit Poll “Encouraging”
GSLP-Liberal candidate Samantha Sacramento says that although she is not keen to speculate about the result before the official announcement, she finds the GBC exit poll which predicts a huge win for her party “encouraging.”
Ms Sacramento says she is enjoying the hustle and bustle of the count.
“It’s a great atmosphere and it’s great to be here again,” she said adding that the GSLP was “like a family”.
Speaking about the campaign, Ms Sacramento says that although she has found the last two weeks “extremely exhausting” she has experienced polling day in a “calm, peaceful and almost serene” way.
Asked about her plans if she is re-elected, she said: “There is still a lot to do so there’s some unfinished business and a lot of new ideas and initiatives that we want to deliver.”
