Nov 18 - Gibraltar Police Federation Condemn Spanish Political Party Vox's "Torture" Allegations

The Gibraltar Police Federation strongly condemns the recent malicious allegations of "torture" made by activists of the Spanish political party VOX against the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and the Royal Gibraltar Police.

A spokesman for the Federation said: "We would like to place on record that our Police Officers are firm believers and strictly adhere to the fundamental principles and values of the European Convention on Human Rights.

"We are professionals, our work is transparent and we treat everyone with respect and dignity, even when in custody.

"The Gibraltar Police Federation fully supports the Chief Minister and HM Government of Gibraltar in dismissing these false and absurd allegations."
