Aug 20 - GSD Congratulates GCSE Students
The GSD Opposition congratulates students who took GCSE’s this year and who have been successful in their examinations. It is gratifying to note that there has been an overall improvement this year over last year at both Westside and Bayside comprehensives.
Opposition MP for Education, Edwin Reyes says “The results show a positive trend but it’s important that we keep this going through the hard work of educators and students and by ensuring the education system is provided with the necessary level of investment. I would also like to acknowledge the contributions made by the teachers who have prepared our students for these exams throughout the education system, since they started First School, They have collectively been responsible for ensuring our students were stretched and achieved their best during their school years.
