Aug 25 - Traineeships At The European Parliament
Every year, the European Parliament offers paid and unpaid traineeships which enable young people to learn more about the work of the Parliament and to familiarise themselves with its activities.
Traineeships are targeted at university graduates and students. They range from a general to specialised ones involving journalism and translation, although those that involve payment are only open to graduates.
The traineeships start twice a year, in March and October and last for 5 months. Applications for March 2016 are now open.
Although the scheme has nothing to do with the Gibraltar Government, Number Six says it was considered important to give the opportunity some publicity locally because there could be young people in Gibraltar who may be interested in applying.
