Sep 24 - Governor Inspects Infantry Pass Out Parade
The Governor and Commander in Chief of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment, Lieutenant General Sir James Dutton was the Inspecting Officer for a recent Infantry Pass Out Parade at the Infantry Training Centre in Catterick.
Around 100 Infantry Soldiers were on the Pass Out Parade including six soldiers from the Royal Gibraltar Regiment.
Private Celella, Private Hankes, Private McCarthy, Private Nacimiento, Private Pocok and Private Rooney have all successfully completed their 26 week Combat Infantryman Course.
All infantry soldiers in the British Army must complete the demanding course which teaches the soldier a number of skills from war-fighting tactics through to ceremonial drill. It is designed to ensure that the newly qualified solider is fully prepared to join their chosen unit and is ready for operational deployment.
