Jun 20 - Thousands Of People Flock To Calentita Food Festival
This year's Calentita Festival was bigger than ever, marking ten years since the gastronomy festival first started in the community.
Thousands of people flocked down to Casemates Square, Market Place and Corral Road where food from around the world went on sale to tickle tastebuds.
There were three stages this year, one for cooking demonstrations, another for performances and live music that catered to all interests on the night.
The event was officially kicked off by the newly-crowned Miss Gibraltar Kayley Mifsud and her two princesses, Joseanne Bear and Aicha Benyahya. They were also called to the cooking demonstration stage to hand out prizes to the winners for the best calentita, best torta de patata and best Gibraltarian dessert.
It was a fun night for people of all ages, and went down a treat with the community.
