The seminar, titled "Reducing the Stigma of Mental Health in the Gibraltar Workplace" will take place on Thursday 12th October at 1pm at the GFSB Conference Room in 122 Irish Town.

A spokesman for CIPD Gibraltar said: "For this very topical event we are extremely lucky to have as our speaker, David Beeney, who has committed the rest of his working life to reducing the stigma of mental health in the workplace. David previously enjoyed a 30 year career in newspapers and magazines and was General Manager of a regional daily newspaper and Commercial Director for Auto Trader. His drive now is to help employers gain a greater understanding of how they can best support their employees. He is a qualified Mental Health Counsellor affiliated to the British Association of Counsellors and Practitioners.

"Come and hear David speak about how we can inspire and help the many employees who choose to stay silent about their mental fatigue, to seek support."
