Mar 08 - Jyza Balban Signs Up For Miss Gibraltar
Jyza Balban has signed up for this year's Miss Gibraltar pageant.
Here are her details:
FULL NAME: Jyza Balban
AGE: 20
STAR SIGN: Capricorn
OCCUPATION: Office Junior
COLOUR OF HAIR: Dark Brown
COLOUR OF EYES: Brown
HOBBIES & INTERESTS: Drawing, Fitness, going out with friends and drumming.
LANGUAGES SPOKEN: English, Spanish & Italian
AMBITION (ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL): To be the best version of myself and to be happy by living my life to the fullest.
YOUR IDEA OF A PERFECT DAY: My perfect day consists of being surrounded by friends and family, not forgetting my cat especially and spending quality time with them.
WHAT DO YOU MOST LIKE ABOUT GIBRALTAR: Gibraltar is very rich in History and is also a very multicultural society. Every corner has significant historical value. Everyone knows everyone, so the community is very close no matter what race or religion. I also love the spectacular views.
WHY HAVE YOU ENTERED THE PAGEANT: I have always dreamt about entering since I was young. Over the years I have taken part in pageants and fashion shows in which I have enjoyed as a hobby. Knowing that Miss Gibraltar is one of the most professional pageants on the Rock, it is a step further than what I’m used to but I’m always up for a challenge!
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE MISS GIBRALTAR: First and foremost to put Gibraltar on the map, but most importantly to break the typical stigma of being a Beauty Queen as the majority of people think that it is all about being pretty but in reality, it is so much more than that.
