The Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia met this afternoon with the Foreign Secretary James Cleverly in London. They were accompanied by the Attorney General Michael Llamas.

The meeting is part of the continuing round of contacts between the two governments against the background of the ongoing negotiations between the UK and the EU on the future relationship of Gibraltar.

The Chief Minister said: “I was delighted to have met with the Foreign Secretary once again in order to take stock of the negotiations. James Cleverly is a long-standing friend of Gibraltar and we can rest assured of his support as the negotiations enter their final stretch.”
