Minister Feetham Visits Oakberry Açaí Gibraltar, Led By Young Entrepreneurs

The Minister for Justice, Trade and Industry, Nigel Feetham was invited to the newly opened Oakberry Açaí takeaway on Main Street, marking the business’ first months of operation since its launch in June 2024.

During the visit the Minister enjoyed his first ever açaí bowl, a highlight of the new establishment.
The team behind Oakberry Açaí Gibraltar, who are also behind Barton Solutions Ltd., a 3D design business launched last year, expressed their appreciation for Minister Feetham’s continued support. They first met him in October 2023 (shortly after the General Election) when they were navigating the early stages oftheir entrepreneurial journey. TheMinister’s efforts to support young entrepreneurs, particularly those in the digital sector, helped them overcome initial challenges and become the first members of his Ministry’s Connect Hub initiative.
Since then, Minister Feetham has continued to offer guidance as the young entrepreneurs have expanded their ventures, as part of the Government’s commitment to fostering local entrepreneurship and innovation, and especially encouraging the next generation of local talent.
