Safety Measures For Three Kings’ Cavalcade 2025

In preparation for the forthcoming Cavalcade, scheduled for Sunday 5th January 2025, safety measures will be implemented in line with the Events Risk Assessment and Event Management Plan.
This year, parts of Casemates Square will be closed to the public as from 2:00pm to ensure preparations run smoothly and the event be made safe for participants and spectators.
A statement from the Three Kings’ Cavalcade Committee follows below:
Spectators are advised to make use of the entire length of Main Street, from the ICC to the Convent, to help ensure a smooth flow of Cavalcade floats and prevent overcrowding at the start of the route. Gibraltar Cultural Services will distribute sweets along the entire route as from 6:45pm, and children and families assembled towards the end will not miss out.
Additionally, traffic will be restricted in Market Place and Fish Market Road, allowing attendees to access Main Street via Irish Town and Cooperage Lane. These measures aim to ensure that the public can easily and safely enjoy the parade without crowding specific areas.
Further details on traffic management and public safety measures will be provided by the organisers shortly. The Cavalcade Committee is committed to delivering a joyful and safe experience for all celebrating the 66th Anniversary of the event.
