Minister Feetham Visits Gibtelecom

Minister Nigel Feetham visited Gibtelecom in his dual capacity as a member of its Board.
A statement from the Government follows below:
The company employs over 170 people across its various business segments in Gibraltar.
The Gibraltar SavingsBank has invested tens of millions of pounds into Gibtelecom, which has itself reinvested significant profits (exceeding £100 million) into its operations over the years.
During his visit, Minister Feetham toured all four sites and engaged directly with the workforce, recognising their vital role in maintaining Gibraltar’s telecommunications infrastructure. He highlighted the importance of continued investment in both technology and people to ensure the company remains at the forefront of service delivery.
The Minister also emphasised the need for Gibtelecom to uphold the highest standards of customer care and provide value for money, in line with the Government’s commitment to ensuring public stability, protecting local jobs, and promoting fairness for consumers in Gibraltar’s telecommunications sector.
