Lions Club Gibraltar Hosts Bingo Night To Support Research Childhood Cancer

The Lions Club Gibraltar recently organised a Bingo night to raising funds for research into childhood cancer.
A statement from the Lions Club Gibraltar follows below:
The event took place on Friday 7th of March at South Barracks Senior Citizens Club, bringing together community members, families, and local businesses in a show of support for children battling cancer.
The lively evening featured a variety of Bingo games, with participants vying for exciting prizes, all while enjoying refreshments and socializing with fellow attendees. Proceeds from the event was then donated to the Charity which dedicate themselves to funding research that seeks to improve treatment and outcomes for children facing this challenging illness.
The Lions has a long-standing tradition of community service, and this event is just one of many they host throughout the year. "We are thrilled with the turnout on the night and the generous contribution from members of our community towards a worthy Charity," said Lion President Manuel Olivera . "Every ticket sold and every donation received will help us make a difference in the lives of children and their families affected by cancer."
On Tuesday 25th of March representative of RICC Gibraltar Craig Sacarello
was invited to the Lions monthly meeting where a check of £1,000 was presented. Mr Sacarello explained how the charity works and how the funds collected help the important research into childhood cancer.
