Government And LifeCome Care Gibraltar Ltd Mutually Agree To End Contract For Domiciliary Care And Home Support

The Government of Gibraltar and LifeCome Care Gibraltar Ltd have today mutually given notice and agreed to terminate the contract for Domiciliary Care and Home Support.
A statement from the Government follows below:
This was decided at a meeting this morning between Minister Arias-Vasquez, Care Agency CEO, Carlos Banderas and LifeCome Care Gibraltar management.
In the interest of all service users, the parties have mutually agreed to embark on a 30-day transition period to ensure a smooth handover of the service, which is the notice period required under the contract.
The Government will make a further announcement next week on its future plans for Domiciliary Service and Home Support.
