Royal Gibraltar Regiment Cadet Force Passing Out Parade

30 cadets from the Royal Gibraltar Regiment Army Cadet Force (RGACF) attended a passing out parade on the evening of 8 April, marking the successful completion of their training milestones.
The event, held at the Devil’s Tower Camp Parade square, saw junior cadets proudly receive their berets, while senior cadets were honoured with prestigious awards in front of their families.
The parade was presided over by the Commanding Officer of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment (RG), Lieutenant Colonel John Pitto, who presented the awards and congratulated the cadets on their dedication and commitment. A complement of music was provided by the RG Corps of Drums throughout the occasion.
The event marked the culmination of hard work, dedication and commitment demonstrated by the cadets throughout their training, and the support provided by their adult volunteers.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the coveted "Best Recruit" award to Cadet Jaylen Cabrera, recognising his outstanding performance and exemplary conduct throughout his initial training.
Cadet Mason Bossino was awarded the "Most Improved" cadet, acknowledging his significant progress and effort.
Demonstrating the Cadet Force's emphasis on discipline and precision, Cadet Max Peach received the award for "Best in Drill."
"These accolades underscore the importance of precision, discipline and teamwork, qualities that are essential for success both within the Cadet Force and beyond," the Cadet Force said in a statement.
The CO’s coin was awarded to Major Juri Williamson, Officer Commanding Gibraltar Cadets, for his unwavering efforts and dedication to the RGACF.
The successful evening culminated in a reception for all attendees in the Junior Ranks’ Mess.
The Royal Gibraltar Regiment Cadet Force remains an integral part of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment family, fostering the development of young individuals through military-based activities and instilling values of discipline, leadership, and community spirit.
