Convent Garden Open Day 2025

His Excellency The Governor, Lieutenant General Sir Ben Bathurst and Lady Bathurst, are opening The Convent gardens to the public on Tuesday 20th May for visitors to enjoy.
A statement from the Office of The Governor follows below:
The Convent will be open from 11:00 to 18:00, with last entry at 17:30. Admission will be free of charge but there will be a donation box, and any money received will go to two local charities - Men In Need and EV Foundation.
Refreshments, cakes and The Convent’s famous homemade spinach and feta sausage rolls as well as meat sausage rolls will be on sale. There will also be a plant stall selling bedding and herb plants. Both cash and card will be accepted.
Visitors should be aware that there is limited disabled access to the garden. Pushchairs and prams cannot be admitted but limited storage will be available. Anyone requiring assistance is encouraged to contact The Convent in advance.
