His Excellency the Governor Visits RSM Gibraltar

RSM Gibraltar say they were “delighted and honoured” to have hosted a visit by His Excellency the Governor, Sir Ben Bathurst. His Excellency was welcomed to its offices by CEO Moe Cohen and Managing Director Mark Benady, who first explained that RSM Gibraltar is an integral part of RSM International, a global professional network, that manages to combine international support with local expertise to deliver professional services in accountancy, audit, advisory, fund administration, tax and fiduciary.
A statement continued: “During his visit, His Excellency also met with Filipino nationals who are an important element of RSM Gibraltar’s inclusive and diverse workforce and then toured the company’s offices at 21 Engineer Lane. Employees across all of the firm’s service lines and departments were very appreciative of Sir Ben’s time and interest, having engaged with all members of staff and demonstrated a real interest in their respective roles and understanding of the work of RSM Gibraltar.
“His Excellency the Governor’s extensive visit finished with a three-course lunch with Directors at one of the firm’s boardrooms. This was an opportunity to enjoy a relaxed but frank conversation and exchange of ideas on matters relating to the Financial Services industry as well as to Gibraltar more generally, including on the proposed UK/EU Treaty and both the challenges and opportunities facing the Rock as a result. All RSM Directors were grateful to His Excellency for allowing them the opportunity to explain RSM Gibraltar’s values, as well as the firm’s continued focus for excellence.”
Moe Cohen, RSM Gibraltar’s CEO, commented: “We are incredibly appreciative of His Excellency for the genuine interest displayed during his visit. We are all proud of the work that we do and of how seriously we take our responsibilities in servicing the needs of our clients, and it was a privilege to put this across to Sir Ben, as we also recently did with Minister for Justice, Trade, Industry and Taxation, the Hon Nigel Feetham KC.”
