Chief Minister Meets UK Deputy Permanent Representative To The United Nations

Yesterday the Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, met with Ambassador James Kariuki, the United Kingdom’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
A statement from the Government follows below:
During the meeting,they discussed the upcoming session of the United Nations Fourth Committee on Decolonisation, at which the question of Gibraltar is due to be considered.
The Chief Minister and Ambassador Kariuki reaffirmed the close and constructive working relationship between the Governments of Gibraltar and the United Kingdom, and their shared commitment to advancing Gibraltar’s decolonisation in full accordance with the wishes of the Gibraltarian people.
