Traffic Management Arrangements – Armistice Day

In connection with the Armistice Day ceremony scheduled to take place at the lobby of Parliament House on Tuesday 11th November 2025, a number of parking restrictions and temporary traffic diversions will be implemented in the area of John Mackintosh Square and Main Street.
Parking Restrictions
7:00am Tuesday 11th November 2025 until approximately 12:00pm John Mackintosh Square / Irish Town
1. Loading/Unloading bays situated outside the City Hall and Matalan, and opposite the former Central Police Station in Irish Town.
2. Taxi-rank on the northern side of John Mackintosh Square.
3. Bicycle and PLET racks at John Mackintosh Square.
Road Closure
10:00am – 11:30am Tuesday 11th November 2025
1. John Mackintosh Square will be closed to all vehicular traffic, bicycles and PLETs.
