S.M. Seruya: Main Street Must Shine

S.M. Seruya, Gibraltar’s longest-standing beauty and fragrance retailer, welcomed over 70 guests to its Main Street flagship on Thursday evening for a networking event that celebrated the launch of S.M. Seruya Gentleman, an initiative spotlighting luxury men’s fragrance.
But the evening was about more than scent. In a speech to guests, Managing Director Shaya Seruya called on Gibraltar’s business community to rally around a shared ambition to elevate Main Street as a high-quality shopping destination and cultural hub.
“We want every visitor, whether here on business, on holiday, or as part of our local community, to find a Main Street that is welcoming, thriving and proudly open for business,” said Seruya.
“With the possibility of a treaty on the horizon, we may soon see more visitors, more movement and more opportunity. Let’s work together to make sure Gibraltar is ready.”
Guests included representatives from the Chamber of Commerce, the Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses, and a number of local professional firms. The event was also attended by the Minister for Tourism and Business, the Hon. Christian Santos MP, who praised the brand’s leadership and wider relevance to Gibraltar’s growth.
“Main Street is Gibraltar’s commercial artery. Events like this help to enhance its identity and strengthen our offering.”
The event also introduced guests to Vivi from Estée Lauder, a fragrance trainer and specialist, who was on hand to showcase the house’s range of luxury men’s fragrances including Tom Ford, Jo Malone London, Kilian, Balmain and Frédéric Malle.
The event marked the start of a Festive season campaign.
