Following the return on Friday afternoon by the jury of its verdict in the Deaths at Sea Inquest and the sufficient recovery of the Chief Minister from his recent emergency eye surgery, the Government will publish the Report into the Retirement of the previous Commissioner of Police, Iain McGrail, at 3 pm tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd December 2025. 

The Chief Minister will make a Ministerial Statement on GBC television and radio live from No 6 Convent Place at 3pm to coincide with publication. 

The Leader of the Opposition has also now been provided with a copy of the Inquiry Report on a confidential basis, ahead of publication. 

As previously stated, publication will be by means of posting the Report on the Government's website.
