Feb 07 - Driving Theory Test Changes
As from 18 February 2013, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Department will be upgrading the existing oral motorcycle and car theoretical tests to a computerised touch screen test. In future, the test will be taken in a specially-equipped room at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Department offices at Eastern Beach Road.
The test will be a multiple quiz comprised of 50 questions. The pass mark will be set at 40, out of a possible 50 questions. This initiative is in line with HM Government of Gibraltar’s manifesto commitment on e-Government.
For revision, theory test booklets will be available at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Department offices at Eastern Beach Road at a cost of £5.00 each. Alternatively, they may be downloaded free of charge from the Government Website.
Further information may be obtained from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Department offices at Eastern Beach Road, telephone No 350 200 51603.
