May 16 - Luce Foundation Youngsters on Med Steps Outing
A number of teenagers participating in this year’s Luce Foundation Programme last week trekked up Mediterranean Steps with Rebecca Figueras of the Youth Service. The outing incorporated team building and familiarisation with the aim of developing and improving relationships between peers and youth workers involved. Trevor Garcia of Bayside School, along with RGP Officers Kenny Kamara and Dani Wink accompanied the group on their hike.
The project will include a number of other fun packed activities and events to be delivered by qualified staff members that work at the residential facility, including visits to local places of interest as well as evening group games, which follow the day’s outdoor programme.
The programme includes regular meetings and a five day residential outing taking place from the 10th to the 14th June at an outdoor activities facility located in Zahara de La Sierra, Cadiz.
