May 20 - Gibraltar Internationals Website Launched
A network of Gibraltarians living abroad has been set up by the Government in the form of a website. ‘Gibraltar Internationals’ serves as a web based directory allowing for hundreds of Gibraltarians living abroad, as well as Gibraltar-based professionals, to register their details on the webpage.
The Government has today asked for locals with relatives or friends abroad to contact them and make them aware of this initiative. A BETA version of the site has been launched for the time being in order to test the initiative. Once the Government is satisfied with the webpage, the final version will be launched.
Commenting on the initiative, Chief Minister Fabian Picardo noted that the website will bring together the vast amount of Gibraltar talent that exists across the globe and encourage these professionals to use each other’s services. He added that the Government will also make use of the services of such Gibraltarians and Gibraltarian professionals whenever they are required in any country where there is a Gibraltarian able to assist.
The website can be found at either https://gibraltarinternationals.gi or https://gibraltarinternationals.com.
