Apr 15 - Semana Santa Frontier Queues
15 April 2014
Extensive Frontier queues for vehicles crossing into Spain are building up once again for the second evening in a row, with the RGP reporting that current waiting times are at 2 hours.
The queues come during a time when many Spanish nationals are on holiday for Semana Santa and have ventured into Gibraltar for shopping and leisure.
Vehicular diversions are in place by the Sundial Roundabout directing frontier queue traffic down Devil’s Tower Road. Queues to enter Gibraltar this morning were also lengthy, with stringent checks being carried out on cars and coaches driving through the frontier.
