Sep 17 - 'Temple Way' Inaugurated

The newly named ‘Temple Way’, leading up to the Hindu temple and Engineer’s Lane car park, was yesterday inaugurated by the Chief Minister, in the presence of a number of members of the Hindu community in Gibraltar.
Speaking at the gathering, Fabian Picardo noted that now the street had been renamed, he hoped people would be more respectful towards to the area. he added that it was ‘an indication to anybody who cares to look where they are, what is in the location and how they should understand that this is not only an access to the Upper town and a car park, but also a place of worship.’
