Oct 28 - FSC 2015 Strategic Plan Sparks Staff Re Structure

fsc In order to help deliver the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission 2015 Strategic plan effectively, the Commission will see a restructure of senior positions as of January 1st 2015. The restructure aims to support the ‘efficient and effective delivery of the FSC’s authorisation, supervision and enforcement activity’.

Change in positions will include, Heidi Bocarisa appointed Head of Conduct of Business Supervision and Neil Perera appointed Head of Professional Services Supervision. Joe Perdoni was afforded the role of Head of Prudential Supervision in September, as was Kathryn Morgan the role of Director of Regulatory Operations.

New positions to arise that will soon be put up for vacancy are Director of Legal, Enforcement and Policy and Head of Enforcement.

FSC CEO Samantha Barrass explained that the new structure gives a clear line of sight to each type of engagement firms share with the Commission. She added, ‘this focus will enable stronger FSC accountability and transparency for the work we do to enhance the reputation of Gibraltar’s financial services sector. It will support improved delivery of all of our regulatory objectives and strengthen our ability to meet stakeholder expectations.’
