Jun 12 – Programme For Special Olympics Summer Games

Special Olympics Gibraltar is celebrating its 30th Anniversary on the Rock, with athletes competing in aquatics, athletics and 5-a-side football in this year’s Summer Games.
This year the Gibraltar team will be competing against a team from Barbate in Algeciras and new competitors Catalunya will be joining the games.
The opening ceremony will take place at the Victoria Stadium on Wednesday 17th June at 6pm, with athletic events taking place the following day in Victoria Stadium at 6pm. The Football tournament will be held at the Bayside Sports and Leisure Complex at 9am on Friday morning. The aquatic events will be held at the GSLA Pool at 6pm on Friday.
