Europa FC Women’s Hockey Club At EuroHockey Club Challenge I

Europa FC Women’s Hockey Club are travelling to Turkey to represent Gibraltar at the EuroHockey Club Challenge I Women 2025, taking place in Alanya during the Easter weekend.
A statement from the Government follows below:
The team formed in 2019, led by Head Coach Christian Zammit and Team Manager Gareth Flower, will face league champions from Wales, Poland and Portugal during the group stages of the competition.
Starting their European journey in Challenge III, the local team has seen promotion twice and now finds itself playing in a Challenge I amongst top European Nations.
The Minister for Sports, the Hon Leslie Bruzon, has sent his best wishes to the team: “I wish the team the very best in the competition. Their continuous accomplishments locally and their successive promotions in the EuroHockey Club Challenge leagues is a true reflection of the many hours of training and dedication they have put into the sport of Hockey.I am sure that they will once again be worthy representatives for Gibraltar. Enjoy the competition and good luck.”
