May 05 - Head Of Women’s Football Completes UEFA Leadership Programme
The Gibraltar FA’s Head of Women’s Football, Tracey Baglietto, recently completed the UEFA Women in Football Leadership Programme which was held at UEFA HQ in Nyon, Switzerland.
This is the first ever UEFA Educational Programme of its type, and carries massive support within UEFA’s hierarchy, and has been completed after attending five very intensive sessions.
Only 22 highly recommended individuals, from different football associations across Europe, have had the privilege of becoming ‘pioneers’ in the Women in Football Leadership Programme. The aim of this course is for all associations to aim to have an increase in the number of Women in Leadership positions and to create much greater equality between males and females in associations throughout Europe.
Tracey said: “After successfully achieving my UEFA Certificate in the UEFA Women in Football Leadership Programme I would like to say that this is indeed the beginning of a very positive initiative for the Future of Women Leadership within European Women's football, and also for Gibraltar.”
