Sep 02 - Chronicle paves the way for Gibraltar's Media
The long established Gibraltar Chronicle has, and will always be, the cornerstone of GIbraltar's media. The newspaper has been around for so many years, covering all the news and events for GIbraltar. Like any good media outlet though, it receives it's fair share of abuse, criticism and sometimes even a little bit of ridicule. But maybe not for long…
The Chronicle has now launched their iPad App, the first real App in Gibraltar to make the most of changing times and the need to improve online presence in order to keep up with the rest of the world. So many of us read the UK Press on our iPads and iPhones, in fact it's not just for UK press, we can also read the New York Times, Le Monde, and even the Washington Post if it takes your fancy.
As with all great apps, it's ability to be up to date, anytime and anywhere in the world makes it a great option, especially for those of you that are away from Gibraltar and can't pick up the paper. The subscriptions start from as little as £4.99 for 6 issues or £14.99 for the month.
There has long been discussions around the world about the future of printed press, the general consensus is that it will evolve. What it will evolve into is another discussion altogether.
You can check out The Gibraltar Chronicle app for your iPad here.
