Dec 05 – Newton Creative Awards Ceremony
The Newton Store yesterday hosted the prize giving ceremony for the Newton Creative Awards 2014 for Music.
His Worship the Mayor announced the winning and commended entries in the three age-groups:
- Under 13: winning prize iPad or £400 Newton Store voucher
Winner: Entry 29, Turn Around, by Millie Devlin and Chloe Alecio
Highly Commended: Entry 31, When We're Together, by Zoe King and Tara Tirathdas, from St Joseph's Middle School
Commended: Entry 15, Our Trip To New Orleans, by Nicholas Olivero, Mailyn Cerise, and Natalie Escamez, from St Anne’s Middle School
Commended: Entry 28, Off My Feet, by Johnathan Ramagge and Ryan Duo, from St Joseph's Middle School
- Under 17: winning prize MacBook Pro 13-inch or £900 Newton Store voucher
Winner: Entry 10, Forest Child, by Chloe Enriles
Highly Commended: Entry 13, Looking from the inside, by Ethan Rocca
Commended: Entry 9, A Meeting, by Alex Vallejo
- 17 and over: winning prize iMac 27-inch or £1,300 Newton Store voucher
Winner: Entry 1, Together Alone, by Hollie April
Highly Commended: Entry 6, Alone, by Paul Isola
Commended: Entry 7, Avalon (Save Me), by Craig MacDonald
