The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).

International Franchises Limited has today announced the cessation of trading in both its BHS stores at the ICC and Main Street and an exciting new partnership to bring the UK department store Debenhams to Gibraltar.
Two old school friends (Michelle Manning and Maria Palma) recently organised a Charity Skydive in Sevilla. Over 35 people took part in the event, raising a total of £10,378.
The Airport Fire & Rescue Service is currently carrying out Emergency Response Driver Training for its new drivers. During next week, new drivers will be undergo practical training on Gibraltar’s roads so the public are likely to see and hear Fire trucks making use of their blue lights and two-tone horns.
