The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, today met with the Foreign Secretary, Rt Hon Lord David Cameron, at the Foreign Office in London in order to discuss the outstanding issues and matters in the ongoing negotiation with the European Union in relation to Gibraltar.
Seasoned local chess player Freddie Poggio once again took the Gibraltar prize in the amateurs section of the Tradewise Chess Festival. The annual festival, which is held at the Caleta Hotel, ends today.
Minister Albert Isola yesterday addressed the guests at the Gibraltar Day Lunch in Zurich. Around 125 people attended the lunch, about 100 of them being Swiss-based professionals in the areas of asset management / funds as well as members of the insurance sector. Apart from hosting the lunch, Minister Isola attended a number of private meetings in Zurich as well as being interviewed by Bloomberg.
