The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, today met with the Foreign Secretary, Rt Hon Lord David Cameron, at the Foreign Office in London in order to discuss the outstanding issues and matters in the ongoing negotiation with the European Union in relation to Gibraltar.
It’s been recently announced that Twitter has introduced new rules in order to combat abuse and trolling on the site. Abuse has increased recently, with celebrities being targeted the most. Terrorist organisations are also using Twitter to spread their ridiculous ideas and recruit new brain-washed members.
The Government has announced the programme of events for this year’s May Day next Friday 1st May. The entertainment at Grand Casemates Square is being organised by the Gibraltar Cultural Services.
The Chief Minister is today giving notice of his intention, on behalf of the Government, to move a motion which would bestow the Freedom of the City upon the Royal Gibraltar Police. The Leader of the Opposition has been advised of the intention and indicated that the Opposition will support it.
