The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
A dream came true for distinguished local artist Mario Finlayson when Gibraltar’s national art gallery, also named after him, was officially inaugurated today.

This year’s edition will celebrate cultures of Maghreb and Morocco with world music, workshops and street parties with the support of the Government of Gibraltar, the Parasol Foundation, Tourism of Morocco, SG Hambros, Hassans, Hyperion, Deloitte, JYSKE Bank, Casablanca Beer, Ramparts, Margaux Philantrhopy, Royal Air Maroc and the Sunborn Hotel.
Next Thursday 11th June, the Gibraltar Public Services Ombudsman, Mr Mario Hook and his team will be outside Parliament House distributing their Annual Report for the year ending 31st December 2014.
