The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
Gibraltar Cultural Services (GCS), on behalf of the Ministry for Culture, is organising the Spring Visual Arts Competition that will see changes to previous editions of the competition. It will now include new categories - video, photography and installations. This will keep in line with Government’s policy of promoting the visual and contemporary arts in Gibraltar and abroad.
