European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for ForeignAffairs José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels on Thursday 16th May.
This morning the Gibraltar International Song Festival 2015 was announced by Chairman of the committee for the Festival, Joe Carseni with a headlining performance to be provided by world renown Abba tribute band Björn Again.
During yesterday’s meeting of Parliament, Education Minister Gilbert Licudi proposed a Bill for an act to establish the University of Gibraltar. In a move he had pledged to make various times over the past few months, the Minister touched upon a former Bill brought to the house, to appropriate £10 million for the University.
Isolas recently hosted a group of HR professionals for another in its programme of Employment breakfast briefings. This particular one dealt with mediation in Gibraltar and bullying in the workplace. The event, which was by invitation only, attracted approximately 50 of Gibraltar’s HR professionals from all areas of industry, from gaming to banking, corporate service providers to union representatives.
