WAR, WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR?
At present there are something in the region of thirty on going, armed conflicts around the world, some of which have been going on for since 1953 (North Korea, no peace deal signed).
Most of these are not official wars, as they are not being fought by or on behalf of a state or legislative state but rather by the people. To wage war it takes money in order to arm and equip the people doing the fighting.
Most of the of these countries are of little political or of economical value to the richer countries other than for them to sell weapons to, perpetuating the misery that has had these countries relegated to third world status and a play ground for arms dealers to test their wares.
It is, the countries backing the arms dealers that really benefit. You may know them already… America, Russia, China, United Kingdom, France and Germany all have booming “Defence Industries” and multi billion Dollar arms contracts throughout the world, either official or clandestine the result are the same, the rich get richer while the rest get embroiled up in decades of fighting.
War is Business and Business is good.
