Sep 22 – Deloitte Charity Spinathon Set For Next Month

Deloitte Limited are hosting a Charity Spinathon on Saturday 17^th October in aid of the Gibraltar Alzheimer's and Dementia Society which will consist of members of staff cycling for 12 hours (9am – 9pm) on stationary bikes placed in John Mackintosh Square.

There will also be two bikes available for a “Corporate Challenge” which will involve members of staff from different local companies cycling a one-hour slot, with the hopes of winning a trophy and a prize. The organisers will also have a couple of bikes available during the day for volunteers who wish to cycle individually in order to contribute to this worthy cause.

Apart from the cycling, Deloitte have organised a variety of fun activities for the public to take part in during the course of the day. These include, bouncy castles, laser-tag, face painting and a raffle.

A spokesperson said: “We hope this will be an enjoyable and successful experience for all individuals involved which will hopefully not only raise significant funds for a worthy cause but raise awareness amongst our community.”
